Another Man Jumps Into The Lagos Lagoon

 


As the police battle to unravel the facts regarding the disappearance of Toju Daibo, another young man has attempted to commit suicide along the third mainland bridge in Lagos.
According to the cab driver, the yet to be identified man was alleged to have boarded a cab from Igando area of Lagos heading towards the island.
Around the Ebute Metta end, the passenger said that he is pressed and would want to alight from the cab.

The deputy commissioner of police in charge of the rapid response squad, Tunji Disu who confirmed the incident to Channels Television explained that the driver immediately called the attention of officers on duty on the bridge to rescue the man who had already plunged into the lagoon.
Mr Disu also added that the victim, however, landed on floating logs beneath the bridge making him sustain varying degrees of injury.
The victim has since been rescued and now receiving treatment at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH)
