Problems And Solutions Of Sedentary Lifestyle

First, you may be wondering what we are referring to when we say sedentary lifestyles. It's simply means a life of in activity in other word going on with life without exercising the body.
Leading a sedentary lifestyle has become a significant public health issue. This lifestyle is increasing day-by-day in many nations despite being linked to some chronic health conditions.

Many people living a sedentary lifestyle are unlikely to meet up with the national physical activity guidelines.

According to the government’s 2008 physical Activity Guidelines for Americans, adult should be getting at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity each week.

A Research has shown that only 21 percent of adults are meeting the physical activity guidelines, while less than 5 percent perform 30 minutes of physical activity per day.

A recent Research also confirms the health risks associated with a sedentary lifestyle. A sedentary lifestyle can contribute to obesity, diabetes, cancers, cardiovascular disease and death.

Extended periods of inactivity can reduce metabolism and impair the body’s ability to control blood sugar levels, regulate blood pressure, break down fat and calories.
It is essential to reduce the amount of time spent being sedentary and engage in physical exercise, it can just be a dance if you not jog or take a brisk walk around your vicinity.

A sedentary lifestyle can also impact negativity on our mental health. The combination of the physical and mental impact to health makes it particularly risky.

A more active lifestyle can significantly reduce the risk of chronic health conditions, mental health disorders, and premature death. Physical activity like exercise and sports, can reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease, diabetes, obesity, and early death.

Physical activity is important, and is recommended for everyone. People can reduce the amount of time they spend being sedentary for instant; by standing rather than sitting in a bus while on transit, taking walks during lunch breaks, walking to work or walking back from walk.

Many people do not meet minimum physical activity guidelines and are at risk of developing health issues from spending too much time being "idle", always engage in activities that help in circulating your blood.

People can also reduce the risks of sedentary by increasing the amount of their physical activities and using the techniques above to reduce their inactive moments
