Over the ages humans have survived different epidemics, empires and dynasties but you know what's really dying? The Earth.
Global warming has been a rising problem over the last decade or so. What is global warming you may ask? Global warming is the slow but deadly process where the rays of the sun toppled with earthy pollution is causing a rip in the Ozone layer. The Ozone layer is an invisible boundary in the atmosphere which shields us from the melting Ray's of the sun but as pollution increases the strength of the Ozone layer decreases.
This will probably lead you to ask "what happens if it rips?", this will result in scorching heat waves, sea levels rising, polar ice caps melting and the extinction of hundreds of polar species.
The burning of Amazon forest should have been a wake up call to us humans to see the real harm we're causing to our host planet. The Amazon forest was dubbed "The lungs of the earth" as it produces 20% of our air supply. That should be enough reason to protect it at all costs but instead the forest was left to burn for 3 weeks straight until it was given enough media coverage to be stopped. This depleted the strength of the Ozone layer even more as scientists say we now have only 12 years to save the earth.
Some people think global warming is just a myth created by "green-loving scientists" to trick humans into taking care of the earth where in reality it is a lurking predator on the verge of pouncing.
Reform strategies such as recycling, reduction of waste disposal in rivers, invention of more Eco friendly fuels and gases have been put in place but few to none adhere to this.
How do we stop global warming? Good question. Bottles, plastic and paper should be recycled in order to save energy, more trees should be planted in order to make for better air circulation, using less of hot water in order to save energy, Bicycles should be provided in all localities to reduce the harmful gases emanating from cars, buses and motorcycles, creation of strict rules against dumping of refuse in rivers.
Humans are a virus and the earth its host. In the biology when the host is sick, it is either the virus kills the host or the host kills the virus, but the real question is whose life is more at stake, the host or the virus?
