Following the killing of Maikano Abdullahi and
Kidnapping of Chief Nemi Adoki on 15/12/17 And His eventual release on payment
of 9million Naira Ransom on 04/01/18 after 21days of captivity in the Creeks of
Akuku-Toru LGA of Rivers State. Between 15/01/18 and 5/2/18 Operatives of the
IGP- Intelligence Response Team IRT deployed to PH by IGP Idris Ibrahim during
unrelenting Follow up arrested Six(6) members of the Kidnapping gang from
different locations In Rivers and Bayelsa states. Suspects arrested and roles
played are,(from left to right)
1. Justice Timothy 'm' 22 deadly gang leader, uses the AK47 and responsible for the death of Mikano Abudullahi. He was in charge of negotiations. His share from the Ransom was 1.8million Naira.
2. Akpos Livinus 'm' 33, coordinator
of the gang's operations, he arranged the weapons used and the location of the
stronghold in the creeks. His share was 1.2milion Naira.
3. Daniel Allen 'm' 27. Participated
in the kidnap, also negotiated for ransom. His share is 1million Naira.
4. Kelvin Alpheus 'm' 30yrs Was
tasked with cooking and running errands for the gang & hostages. His share
was 400k Naira.
5. David Abak 'm' 29. The driver of
the operational vehicle used for the kidnap his share was 800k Naira.
6. Tekena Silva 26yrs Sacked Driver
Of The Victim Chief Nemi Adoki, He Brought the kidnapping job to the group and
got 1 million Naira share from the Ransom. Serious efforts towards arresting
the only One gang member Remaining at large is in Progress.

notorious armed robbers specialized on car and House Robberies in Abuja. 14-2-2018
In Response to Several reports of
Robberies around Apo and Mabushi Axis of Abuja and Subsequent Robbery in the
House of Mr Nasir Yusuf, a staff of Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation
(NNPC) on 22/1/18 where 2 vehicles, a Mercedes Benz E350 with chasis number
WDBUF87X78B193442, Ford escape jeep 2.0 with Chasis number 1FMCUOG9XDUC00691
and other expensive valuables and Gadgets in the house were carted away.
Between 01/02/2018 and 13/02/2018
During unrelenting follow up by operatives of the Intelligence Response Team
IRT deployed by IGP Ibrahim Idris to bring The Armed robbers to Justice, Eight
(8) of the Armed Robbers including the receivers of the stolen vehicles who
Specialized in Moving Robbed Nigerian Cars to Niger Republic were arrested.
They all confessed to Multiple Robberies in Abuja and Mentioned the various
roles each Gang member played in all their Robberies.

age 42yrs based in Katsina state and Specialized in Conveying Robbed Cars from
Nigeria to Niger Republic.

moving stolen vehicles in Nigeria across the border to Niger
Republic to avoid the difficulties. Criminals are now facing in Re-Registration
Stolen Cars in Nigeria, as the nationwide networking of our Car Registration
System in Nigeria is working very well so much so that it’s difficult to
register same car twice.

In line with the directives of IGP Ibrahim Idris on the Arrest of all persons involved in the killings in Benue State and those in possession Of AK47 Rifles and other prohibited Arms. Four Principal Suspects were arrested in Tunga town Nasarawa State between 16th to 19th February 2018 by IRT in connection to the Killing of Sgt Solomon Dung and other Police Officers and many innocent Citizens in Benue State. Suspects are 1) Alhaji Laggi 40yrs Mastermind And Gang leader of the Herdsmen Group, 2) Mallam Mumini Abdullahi 34yrs, 3) Muhammed ADAMU 30yrs and 4) Ibrahim Sule 32yrs. Suspects have confessed to the killings and mentioned Gang members in possession of the police Rifles they took from the slain Police Officers and others in possession of arms. Serious follow up in progress in Benue, Taraba and Benue States. DIG Operations who is heading the Operation have addressed the Press on behalf of the IGP today in Makurdi Benue State.
