On Sunday, September 25, a baby boy
was born in the district of Magura, Bangladesh, India looking like an
80-year-old man. According to the doctors, the baby has a rare condition
called progeria which causes wrinkles on the face,
a very sunken body and hollow eyes suggestive of elderly features.
Despite the look of their baby, the father of the boy who is also a farmer could not hold back his joy on the arrival of his son. The father identified as Biswajit Patro said: “We can only thank God. There is no need to be unhappy about the appearance of my son. We will accept him the way he is. We are so happy to have a baby boy in the house. We are already blessed to have a daughter, now we are a family of four. What else can we ask for?” The baby was not only born looking like an old man but he was born with hair on his back.
