Policemen attached to the Lagos State police command have
arrested a fake assistant superintendent of police (who forged documents
to dupe innocent people of their money.
The suspect, Sammar Abdulrasak, 29, was arrested for being in possession of forged items/ documents purportedly to be that of the office of the deputy inspector general of police , Abuja. The police said among other items and documents recovered from him were police identity card which he was using to parade himself as an assistant superintendent of police (ASP)..
In a similar development, a fake mobile policeman was also arrested at Festac Town where he usually wore police camouflage cap and T-shirt.
The suspect identified as Benjamin Nathaniel,33, was arrested carrying a bag which contained all the recovered items.
