Seven members of two factional vigilante groups have died while many others sustained injuries during a confrontation over leadership between the two groups, vigilante sources have revealed.

The vigilante operatives who could not agree during the coronation of two officials of the Amalgamated Union Of Nigerian Hunters in Gombi reportedly threw caution to the wind and engaged in violence.
An eye witness who do not want his name in print said many lives were lost during the confrontation.
‘‘Seven local hunters were feared killed, while 19 others were rushed to the Specialist Hospital in Jimeta.’’ a resident of the area Musa Buba disclosed.
