The state commissioner of police, Leye Oyebade who gave the names of the suspects as Usman Umaru (30), Sadiq Danladi (28) and Felix Gbawuan while speaking at the police headquarters, Eleyele, Ibadan said that the suspects were arrested at different parts of the state.
He disclosed that Ardo was abducted by the suspects at gun point on March 6 and taken to a secluded forest where his relatives could not have access to him.
After the alleged abduction, the police boss said the hoodlums demanded for N1m ransom as a condition for his release.
He added that when the condition could not be met, the victim was brutally murdered by the kingpin of the criminal gang before the report got to the police.
He said the anti-kidnapping squad of the command immediately swung into action, searched for the location where the victim was held hostage, penetrated the evil camp and discovered a shallow grave where the body of the victim was buried.
The police boss added that one of the suspects, Usman Umaru was earlier arrested at the Atiba Police Division and later assisted the ambush-squad in its investigation.
