The decision to pull the tactical headquarters to Aba is not
unconnected to the resurgence of violent crimes including kidnapping
and armed robbery in Aba the commercial hub of Abia State.
Fejoku who disclosed this to newsmen in Asa, Ukwa West local government area of Abia State during his first visit to the 144 Brigade located in Asa yesterday said he was concerned that Aba has continued to be a hot spot essentially because of kidnapping and other sundry crimes and the activities of MASSOB and IPOB.
“To that effect I have decided after due clearance from my boss based in Enugu to relocate my tactical headquarters from Ohafia to Aba to see how far we can go in trying to curb this menace.
