Kidnapping: 3 Arrested, 2 Rescued In Bauchi



Bauchi State Police Command has arrested three suspected kidnappers who allegedly kidnapped two children.
This was contained in a statement issued by police public relations officer (PPRO), DSP Haruna Mohammed in Bauchi.
He said the suspects were arrested on the  February, 14, 2016 at 4.30 am following an intelligence report by the police  detectives attached to Bauchi State special Anti robbery squad(SARS) led by  Inspector Thomas Kwabika.

DSP Mohammed, gave the names of those arrested as Abubakar Mohammed, 27 from Jos,Plateau State, Sanusi Inuwa male, 40 , from Wuntin Gobirawa  village and Danlami Abdullahi, 45 from the same address.
The statement reads in part: “The three suspects conspired and kidnapped  two children namely, Yunusa Hussaini,  8 years and Dare Yakubu,  7 years  of Dungal village, Bauchi and demanded the sum of N500,000 from their  parents”
“All the victims were rescued in good condition and handed over to their  parents”
He said exhibits recovered from suspects include one dane gun and the sum of N66,000, adding that the case was under investigation after which suspects will be charged to court for prosecution.
