Bizarre: House wife, 22, raped to death in Kano

In mysterious circumstances, a yet-to-be identified hard-hearted Casanova, during the week, in the pyramid city of Kano, raped to death a 22-year-old housewife, Aisha Abdullahi at her matrimonial home at Ungogo quarters, on the outskirts of the metropolis. Contacted, Kano Police Command spokesman, DSP Magaji Musa Majia, who confirmed the dastardly act to newsmen, disclosed that the deceased’s husband, who reported the incident to the Command, pointed out that he was still at a loss over how it happened. According to the PPRO, the widower, identified as Abdullahi Muhammad, reported to the Command that to his bewilderment, on arrival to his home, he met the deceased in a pool of her blood. Command, a crack squad of detectives, who were drafted to the scene, had since commenced investigation to unravel the mystery behind the act, stressing that no stone would be left unturned. The cold murder of Aisha Abdullahi, which occurred on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 has brought to the fore safety concerns among women in the city, as a similar incident was recorded a couple of weeks ago, when one Khadija Muhammad of Ja’in quarters was also hacked to death in her home. Already, two suspects, Nura and Haruna, are in court facing murder charges over the untimely death of Muhammad. The latest incident has elicited condemnation by residents, as prayers had been held in several worship centres, seeking divine intervention. Also, it should be recalled that a similar incident happened at Unguwar Katsina of Ungogo LGA last year December.
