Kaduna State police command has arrested five boys for criminal conspiracy, abduction and rape of a 16-year-old-girl.
One of the suspects, Sadiq Ibrahim, allegedly took the girl from Mando village to Ungwar Shanu village within Kaduna metropolis, raped her and handed her over to four of his friends, Hassan Ibrahim, Kabir Umar, Umar Musa and Bashir Goma, who allegedly raped and kept the girl as a sex slave for five days.
Kaduna State police public relations officer, DSP. Zubairu Abubakar, confirmed the report and said that the suspects had been arrested and are being investigated.
Meanwhile, the Kaduna State commissioner of women affairs and social development, Hajia Rabi Abdulsalam, in a telephone interview, condemned the incident and said she would send her welfare officers to investigate the matter for necessary action.
