Customs destroy frozen foods worth millions of naira in Port Harcourt

The Nigerian Customs Service has destroyed six container loads of imported contaminated frozen food.
The consignment includes poultry and fish, which were intercepted at the Onne Seaport in Rivers State.
Addressing newsmen at the Customs dump site in Onne, Abdulahi Babani who is the Area Comptroller of the Nigerian Customs Service, said the frozen products were confirmed poisonous after examination by the National Agency for Food, Drug Administration and Control, NAFDAC.
