Yea,
the criminals in Lagos are still gasping for breath because they have been on
the run since Abba Kyari came to Town. The news of his departure must have made
them pop the question, “Are you sure?”, and the curiosity to know where he was
posted to is not just for the knowledge but to make sure they don’t go
operating there by mistake.

An era came in Nigeria when decency, modesty,
credibility, honesty, integrity and self control were no longer regarded as
virtues, giving way to corruption, suspicion, confusion, and betrayal in every
sector of our society even in the Nigeria Police Force. From that point to this
moment, the image making of the police became the hardest job in town, but now
the time has come to celebrate the Nigeria Police Force.

harden and dreaded armed robbers, kidnappers, rapists, ritualists, serial
killers- the public enemy extraordinaire who go about their heinous activities
creating the myth of spirituality and invisibility are not spirits after all”, Chief
Superintendent of Police Abba kyari
seems to say. Why? It’s because he is the nemesis that follows them as a
shadow as they exploit the world of crime only to catch up with them at the end
of the tunnel plummeting all the activities to null and void and leaving them
holding the empty sacks, at the receiving end of their stuffs.
Abba Kyari is not a spirit he is a man. Kyari
is not a fictitious character in a fairy tale or some imaginary super heroes
watched in movies and read in novels, he is an officer of the Nigeria Police
Force. CSP Abba Kyari is confidence coming back to the Nigeria Police.
Yes,
SP Abba sounds like a fairy tale, he sounds like the 007 of James Bond fame,
the Denzel Washingtons of this world, the Commandos, Nick Carters, the numerous
police heroes of James Hadley Chase novels. But while all of them are heroes of
a make believe world of arts prop up by film tricks and stunts, SP Abba Kyari
is as real as the back of your palm.
The
gallantry and epoch performance of SP Kyari is what you get when passion drives
vision. This type of results can only be achieved when a man looks beyond the
easy and immediate gains to his pocket and focus on integrity and decorum. This officer looks gentle and easy going but
he is a terror to the world of crime, a thorn on the flesh for men of the
underworld especially those who occupied the chief executive’s position in
robbing and kidnapping.
He
has pursued and captured so many, dead and alive whether they like it or not. The
big timers in the business are still falling by his bullets or getting trapped
by his snares as they have refused to repent from their ungodly and risky
vocation.
This
police officer has proved to all and sundry that there is still hope as far as
the Nigeria Police Force is concerned.
While some of his questionable colleagues are busy labeling the Force
with unprintable names, he is out to protect the lives of Nigerians and to a
large extend preserve the police dignity.
It
would be hard to describe the activities and the accomplishment of this man
without sounding sensational. From the arrest of the disgusting Abiodun
Egunjobi a.k.a GODO-GODO-a notorious armed robber’s kingpin and thirty members
of his gang in 2013, who has been terrorizing the south-west of Nigeria well
over a decade?
Godo-godo
boasted that he was more dreadful, meticulous, mysterious and perilous than his
predecessors Anini and Shina Rambo put together, that before the Police could
lay hands on him he would kill as many of them as possible. But the myth of his
invincibility and invisibility was broken by CSP Kyari and he was caught like a
common criminal that he actually was without the opportunity to lay hand on
even a toy gun and today, he is history.
The
surveillance and tracking down of Ghana based Nigerian armed robbers/kidnappers
operatives in full military uniforms equipped with sophisticated weapons, who
were behind the kidnappings of the chairman of Ejigbo Local Government in Lagos
State and an Indian Nationale Mr Vivex Ghangrani. He and others like him have
fallen into the Kyari’s snare.
SP
Abba Kyari has arrested many robbers and kidnappers, in facts one could go on
and on about his achievements and wouldn’t sound out of place for his gallantry
performance is progressing by the day. But the history making arrest of armed
robbery executives / kidnappers of VIPS – Jide ojo Ogbue a.k.a Marvelous and
his other gang members; Michael Ojeabulu ,Endurance Eke ,Ibrahim Abubaka,
Buhari Hamodola and Hazzan Oseni who masterminded the kidnapping of the mother
of the former Minister of Finance-Mrs Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala and many other
kidnappings is one of his activities that has recorded a lasting impression on
the minds of Lagosians. And the Lagos wicked kidnapper Nanny won’t ever forget
this man even in a hurry.
The former
Officer-in-Charge of Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) Lagos State command is
to be respected by all including the criminals and be emulated by his
colleagues especially those who uses the police uniforms for the wrong reasons.
SP
Kyari has been awarded severally at the State and Federal levels in recognition
of his gallantry performance and here in Vera Crimes’ Blog we
say; “thank you Sir”, for a job well done in Lagos state. May God continue to
guide and protect you as you put Abuja’s criminals on the run, but we are very
sure they won’t run down to Lagos because the new Head of SARS Lagos State
Command CSP Akinade is (a.k.a) Firestorm.
